Wheatley Homes South care service was established in 2011 to provide housing support to some of Wheatley Homes South most vulnerable customers helping them to live independently, safely and with dignity. Our dedicated team supports people experiencing homelessness, older adults and those with complex needs through human rights based, person-centred planning. As part of the wider Wheatley Group, we are committed to transforming lives and building better futures in our communities. Visiting Officer Relief Worker (various hours) - location as required but could be Gretna, Annan, Lockerbie, Moffat, Dumfries, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright, Stranraer. The role has a focus on supporting people who are 55 years old and over living within Wheatley Homes South s sheltered housing developments. Young Persons Development Relief Worker (various shifts) - This role has a focus on providing housing support to people who are living in our Young Persons Project. Temporary Accommodation Relief Assistant (various shifts) - The role has a focus on providing a welcoming service to people who are experiencing homelessness and living in our Supported accommodation projects. Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support environment and have a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards.
