About the Team:
The Finance department including eBilling, billing, and credit control, led by the Working Capital Manager, work closely with the fee-earning departments to ensure client bills are issued in a timely manner, that any work in progress ("WIP") is followed up on and that billing is maximised on a monthly basis
About the Role:
Reporting to the eBilling Manager, the E-Billing Assistant will be responsible for E-Billing support to the Legal Practice Groups across the firm.
The E-Billing Assistant will be responsible for all activities in the e-billing life-cycle, including:
* Uploading eBills into our eBilling portals/eBilling hub
* Ensuring all eBilling queries are dealt with in a promptly, and professional manner
* Manage rejections accordingly to ensure timely resubmission
* Update third party vendor sites where applicable ie) updating timekeepers and rates
* Coordinate accruals, reporting and budgets and submit to client portals
* Workload management via eBilling inbox
* Ad hoc requests
Key Responsibilities:
* Knowledge and experience of windows-based packages such as Microsoft Outlook and Word
* Proficient using Excel
* Good numeracy skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent organizational skills
* Knowledge of computerised billing systems (3E advantageous)
* Previous experience in a finance function and/or a legal environment (Advantageous)
* Experience of E-Billing systems/requirements/processes (Advantageous)
* Flexibility for overtime if required
* Team player

You will have a professional manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have previous experience working within an office. You'll have a flexible nature and will enjoy working within a fast-paced team, and will be highly organised. You'll also possess strong numeracy and attention to detail skills, which will be key within this role.
