We have an exciting role on offer within our Transport and Infrastructure service as a School Crossing Patrol Officer.

We are looking for a calm, reliable, enthusiastic School Crossing Patrol Officer to join our team, you will be help keeping our children and pedestrians on their school journey safe, assisting children and adults across the road on their way to and from school each morning and afternoon during school term time.
For this position, you will be working in partnership with a colleague primarily serving the school community of St Jospeh’s at the crossing point on Clairville Road.
An awareness of the highways code, together with experience of working with children and young people, would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given.
Full uniform, including waterproof clothing will be provided.
Please note this post is 8.75 hours per week.
