An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced chef to join an expanding team at Cafe Argyll in Bournemouth. You will be working alongside one other chef for the breakfast and lunch services. The role is required for 5 days a week SUNDAY - THURSDAY and the weekly hours change seasonally - 40 hours (October-March) and 45 hours (April - September). The hours will be 7.30am-3.30pm during the winter, with an hours flexibility during the summer months. Your days off will be FRIDAY & SATURDAY.
There will be a trial shift required for this role.
Cafe Argyll serves simple home cooked food in a well established bowls club overlooking The West Cliff. Whilst bowls is a leisurely past time for many... this role is anything but relaxed We are looking for an experienced chef who can work well in this fast paced environment alongside the current chefs.

Responsibilities for this job role would include;
· Preparing & cooking breakfast & lunch services.
· Working in an extremely fast paced environment - working well under pressure is a must.
· Ensuring all Health & Hygiene procedures are met.
· Assisting with daily ordering & stock control.
· Work as part of a small close-knit team.
· Ability to cover the other chef's days off / holiday (once you've learnt the ropes)
· As a small team, there will be ad hoc tasks from time to time.
