They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a very exciting project of theirs based in Oxford, OX4. Candidates must have experience in managing electrical projects ranging from £5 - £10million. Responsibilities Receive and examine drawings and specifications provided by clients or main contractors. Design review of electrical installations and project estimating. Ensure the delivery of the projects are on time and to budget and ensure profitability of the projects. To regularly report aspects of the project to clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder. To ensure we are working to a set programme and highlight areas where this cannot be met. Assist in the preparation of programmes where required. Technical submittals and RFI submittal/resolution. Health and safety file preparation together with the production of risk assessments and method statements. Management of the project staff including site supervisors, electrical operatives, and labourers together with the management of sub-contractors including sub-contract health and safety, variations and valuations, final accounts, and O&M information submission. Manage all aspects of labour, plant, and materials. To ensure all works are planned and materials, plant are ordered in good time to avoid delays. Complete financial responsibility including project valuations, costing and submission of applications, variations, and final account submission/agreement. Project based client liaison together with consultants, architects, and main contractors. Complete 4-6 weekly lookaheads to ensure our site staff our productive and highlight potential blockers in completing or starting agreed works. Delegate activities within the Project Team, while still managing to build strong working relationships. Liaise with Technical Team to ensure the delivery of Design / Working Drawings capture any additional costs, programme delay, or external influence that may affect production Experience Strong and effective communicator Competent IT User (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook). Have the ability to work under pressure and remain calm with a high attention to detail A great attitude, a fantastic work ethic and desire to learn A good working knowledge of operating systems, word processing and data input Working to tight deadlines maintaining an exceptional level of customer service Sound knowledge of electrical systems, regulations and best practices within the industry
