The Role We're seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support our Manager, Warehouse & Goods Receiving/IDS in overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, and the full goods receiving process—from storage and picking to packing and internal distribution. This role is essential in driving both short- and long-term operational goals and KPIs. When required, you'll deputise for the Manager across our GGHN and Radius Park facilities. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Support day-to-day warehouse and goods receiving operations Maintain accurate ERP system transactions and data, ensuring warehouse mapping compliance Conduct quality control checks on incoming goods and coordinate supplier returns when necessary Deliver goods to internal customers in line with agreed Service Level Agreements Inventory Control Work closely with Ordering and IDS teams to monitor stock levels against Days on Hand data Ensure minimum/maximum stock levels are maintained and business KPIs are achieved Implement First Expiry First Out (FEFO) principles and actively manage expiry dates Track material waste and deadstock, making proactive stock level adjustments Team Leadership Manage daily work assignments for warehouse and goods receiving staff according to rosters Conduct daily team briefings Pick and pack orders for internal customers including Dispatch, Assembly units, and Hot Kitchen Work flexibly across different warehouse areas (Freezers, Chiller, Ambient, and Radius Park) as needed Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to health and safety, food safety, security, and HACCP regulations Support unit finance regulations and audit criteria Report all incidents and accidents promptly Maintain gateOPEX (operational excellence) standards What We're Looking For Essential Minimum 2 years of relevant operational experience Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments Previous warehousing experience, ideally within food manufacturing Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong team management capabilities Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications Proactive, flexible approach with sound analytical and problem-solving abilities Desirable Degree-level education Forklift truck license and/or assisted lift equipment certification Food hygiene, security, and health & safety qualifications Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling and aviation security Advanced Excel skills What We Offer Free onsite parking Complimentary meals and refreshments Free uniform provided Life Assurance Employee Assistance Programme Competitive holiday entitlement Competitive Pension Scheme from day one Forklift allowance (upon successful completion of training)
