Responsibilities
1. Own the global end-to-end logistics process for highly sensitive and critical technology equipment globally, including freight booking, customs documentation, tracking, and delivery coordination
2. Interpret, apply, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures including compliance with international trade regulations and internal control standards
3. Ensure all shipments are processed efficiently and are accompanied by appropriate documentation for customs clearance, cross-border compliance, and final delivery
4. Coordinate the accurate movement of goods between legal entities, ensuring proper intercompany transfers, depreciation treatment, VAT recovery, and accurate record keeping
5. Identify and drive opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation across logistics workflows
6. Assist the global Procurement team and liaise with internal stakeholders from other teams such as Project Management, DC, Enterprise, and Engineering
7. Manage return merchandise authorizations, repairs, and replacements with vendors and manufacturers
8. Monitor logistics KPIs and support the analysis of global freight spend and vendor performance
Qualifications
9. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, with 3-6 years of relevant experience in global logistics, shipping, supply chain or procurement operations
10. Solid understanding of international shipping, customs documentation, and freight operations (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS, freight forwarders)
11. Proficiency with logistics software, shipment tracking systems, spreadsheets
12. Working knowledge of procurement and workflow systems such as Oracle, Jira, SAP, Gsuite, Microsoft
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly while working with senior-level stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven global environment
14. Excellent attention to detail, recordkeeping, and commitment to data accuracy
15. Strong research and analytical skills to help interpret logistics data and make informed recommendations
16. Experience in a financial services or technology organization is a plus
