Warehouse Operative

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to be part of a vibrant Warehouse and Logistics team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, helping them deliver a reliable service to customers while meeting all legal and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete picking tasks quickly and accurately to prepare orders for dispatch
2. Ensure proper rotation and storage of products
3. Utilize Microsoft and tablet devices for various tasks when needed
4. Safely load stock using hand and forklift methods
5. Take delivery of goods and supplies, ensuring timely and safe handling
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse
7. Ensure warehouse racking is safe and correctly loaded
8. Manage returns efficiently, ensuring all are processed timely and accurately
9. Follow Health & Safety protocols to promote a safe working environment
10. Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and report issues when necessary
Skills & Qualifications:
11. Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
12. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, in-house software)
13. Good number and math skills
14. Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate within a team
15. A proactive and honest approach to work
16. Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence is a plus
Experience:
17. Previous warehouse or stock control experience is desirable
18. Familiarity with quality systems (ISO standards) is beneficial but not essential

Hours of Work- 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
Hourly Pay- £12.60p/h
