Senior C# Software Engineer (Regulatory Reporting) - Commodities Trading - London - up to £800/day
Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities trading firm seeking a Senior C# Software Engineer to join their dynamic, growing regulatory reporting function. In this role, youll play a pivotal part in leading major change projects across their Gas and Power business, covering EMIR Refit and MiFID II.
This is a deeply technical position, with the majority of your focus dedicated to regulatory transformation efforts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, youll help to build robust solutions to deliver accurate, compliant reporting systems.
Experience required
* Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, or similar frameworks)
* Exposure working in Gas and Power trading environments
* Familiarity with end-to-end transaction reporting processes (UTIs, eligibility checks, report submissions)
* Ability to build and maintain Oracle SQL / C# applications for regulatory change programs
* Great written and verbal communication skills
