Department: Head Office / Administration
Salary: FTE £22,932
Hours: 21 hours, flexible and negotiable
Location: Barrland Court, Giffnock
Are you a natural organiser who thrives on making things work smoothly behind the scenes? Do you want to use your skills to support a charity that makes a real difference to people's lives? If so and you enjoy supporting others, building relationships, and making a difference through great admin support, we'd love to hear from you
We're looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our team to provide efficient and effective administrative support to operational managers and our Depute CEO and Director of Services.
What you'll be responsible for:
* Be the welcoming first point of contact for anyone reaching out to Cosgrove's social care services.
* Handle enquiries by phone, email, and letter with professionalism and warmth.
* Help organise meetings and events—setting up rooms, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
* Keep the office running comfortably and safely, arranging repairs or upgrades when needed.
* Assist with projects, audits, and data reporting to keep things on track.
* Manage office spending and equipment, making sure everything's in good working order.
* Help coordinate internal forums, committees, interviews including invites, notes, and tech setup.
* Contribute to presentations and learning sessions.
* Work closely with managers and teams to keep the office running smoothly.
* Pitch in with any other tasks that help the team thrive.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who's organised, approachable, and confident working in a busy office environment. Ideally, you'll have experience in social care or office management, but more importantly, you'll be a great communicator who's comfortable using IT systems like Office 365 and happy to learn new tools like Tagtronics.
You'll be able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with professionalism. A keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork and high-quality service are essential.
Why join or work with us?
* Be part of a values-led organisation committed to empowering individuals.
* A varied and autonomous role where you'll have space to make a real impact.
* Flexible working arrangements and a supportive, collaborative team culture.
* Generous annual leave, rising with service
* Access to various discounts via Blue Light Card eligibility
