We are currently recruiting for a Business Partnering Lead to join our Finance team.

The Business Partner Lead role is a key member of the Finance Team within City Building. Working alongside the Head of Finance (Internal Reporting and Transactions), you will be part of an integrated and professional team, delivering the highest level of financial management consistent with the business objectives. You will be responsible for the delivery of Business Partnering for Finance to the Extended Management Team and operational managers within City Building, deputising for the Head of Finance (Internal Reporting and Transactions) as required.

This team will be the key liaison with operational teams, providing strategic financial insights, analysis, and support to drive business performance. The role combines financial expertise with a deep understanding of the organisation’s objectives to influence decision-making and deliver value-added financial planning and analysis.

Candidates for this role will have current expert specialist knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and experience of working in a finance function within a large, highly complex business environment. A proven track record of financial performance reporting, financial forecasting and control and hold a Membership of a CCAB professional body, CIMA or overseas equivalent

You will be required to have a flexible approach to this role. Your contracted hours of work will be 35 hours per week to be worked to suit the needs of the business.
