About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will inspire and challenge pupils across Years 1 and 2, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that foster curiosity and confidence. You’ll plan creative learning experiences aligned with the national curriculum, assess progress effectively, and maintain a positive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated. You’ll also work closely with supportive teaching assistants and parents to ensure each child’s learning journey is both enjoyable and successful.
Requirements
To be successful in the KS1 Teacher role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2)
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for creating engaging, inclusive learning environments
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
