Sessional Personal Assistant
Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour.

No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants, but you will support someone who requires help to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be.
Each person we support has different support requirements, and your role may include assisting them with personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual, and our Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
About Ravenswood
Based in Kirkintilloch, Ravenswood is a residential interim support service for people at risk of or who have experienced homelessness. It’s a safe, supportive environment where people can gain skills and confidence and plan the rest of their lives.
You may be required to support people at Ravenswood in the following areas:
* Mental health
* Substance use
* Alcohol use
* Relationships
* Budgeting
* Anger management
* Other general life skills
We are looking for personal assistants who are open, flexible, non‑judgmental and compassionate.
Key Responsibilities
The Ravenswood Service is looking for enthusiastic Personal Assistants who can think on their feet and help make a real difference to those we support. You will assist with tenancy sustainment skills for up to seventeen individuals in a comfortable, relaxing environment. When people stay with us, they require intense support, and you will also facilitate various leisure activities.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
* The ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with the people we support.
* The commitment to work with individuals through their personal support plans, ensuring they achieve their goals and outcomes and celebrating their successes.
* A positive and flexible outlook to your work, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
