A reputable housing provider based in Wolverhampton, is seeking a skilled surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis to support their ongoing stock condition programme. The Role As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you'll be responsible for carrying out detailed condition surveys across the organisation's housing portfolio. Your work will play a key role in shaping investment decisions, maintenance planning, and compliance with housing standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal and external stock condition surveys on domestic properties Record and update condition data accurately using handheld software Identify required repairs, component lifecycles, and HHSRS issues Provide clear and concise reports to inform asset management decisions Ensure compliance with Decent Homes Standards and health & safety requirements Liaise with tenants and contractors in a professional and courteous manner Requirements Proven experience conducting stock condition surveys within social housing Strong understanding of Decent Homes and HHSRS criteria Proficiency in using asset management or survey software Excellent communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Think Recruitment welcomes applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, disability, religion, or age.
