Hays Senior Finance are working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business to recruit amercial Accountant to join its finance team. This newly created vacancy offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that is growing and forms part of a larger, global business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, themercial Accountant will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and strongmercial insight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Lead the 12 months rolling quarterly forecast, ensuring assumptions are clearly articulated and traceable through underlying planning processes inmercial and operations.
2. Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and pricing decisions
3. Provide timely monthly performance reporting
4. Offer insights to operational andmercial leaders that add value and can help shape production planning and longer-term strategic initiatives.
5. Support cross-functional teams in aligning operational decisions withpany strategy, sustainability objectives and customermitments.
