Vision for Education are working with a welcoming school in Morpeth to recruit a PMLD Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a full-time supply role starting immediately – a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in an inclusive, supportive environment.
As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, supporting their development, and promoting independence. Strong communication skills are essential, and a moving and handling qualification would be an advantage.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience working with children in primary or secondary education
2. A background in supporting pupils with SEND
3. A genuine passion for supporting the progress of SEND learners
4. The ability to work effectively as part of a team
