About the Company
WRK digital are shortlisting for a Director of IT. Our client has grown rapidly in a short space of time and have a lot more that they want to achieve! Backed by a private equity firm they have an aggressive growth agenda which is underpinned by technology.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to drive growth via technology. My client values in person interactions, hybrid / 3 days per week onsite minimum.
Responsibilities
* Engage the SLT and drive business transformation projects.
* Translate complex technical and security risks into clear business language and compelling investment cases for non-technical partners and stakeholders.
* Direct the following functions:
o Business Transformation & Process Excellence
o IT Operations & Infrastructure
o Information Security and Digital Risk Management
o Get close to the details as the team is small.
Qualifications
You will be a proven leader of IT (CTO/ CIO / CDO).
Required Skills
* Strong commercial acumen to manage large budgets & 3rd party suppliers & technology vendors.
* Prior experience of leading business wide process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives.
* Expert level knowledge of data protection and information security standards.
Preferred Skills
* Expertise in establishing and enforcing a formal, robust change control framework and Project Management Office (PMO) for governing both technical and business process changes would be highly desirable.
