Our defence sector client is currently recruiting SC-cleared Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers for initial 6-month contracts. The contracts offer a hybrid working arrangement of 2-3 days onsite in Bristol and the remainder working from home.
Responsibilities
* Ensure quality risks and opportunities are captured and actively managed.
* Specify contract quality requirements and contribute to supplier selection.
* Determine quality management and assurance approaches with suppliers and ensure technical risks are understood and managed.
* Develop QA surveillance and assurance plans in response to supplier, supply chain, and technical risks.
* Conduct and manage the delivery of QA surveillance supporting risk management, supplier oversight, verification, validation, and acceptance.
* Contribute to quality investigations, root cause analysis, internal process improvements, and supplier escalations/interventions.
* Coordinate and monitor all delivery area quality management and assurance activities, including contract quality performance.
Experience
* Chartered Quality Professional (CQP), Quality Practitioner, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
* MOD Quality Practitioner License.
* Relevant Level 4 qualification (or higher) or equivalent experience.
* Applied knowledge of QA within the acquisition environment, supported by expertise in multiple QA specialist areas, including Configuration Management.
* Broad industry/manufacturing and QA experience from involvement with multiple projects and domains, including supply chain engagement.
