Description Infrastructure Architect Location : Bracknell – minimum 2 days a week on site. May also attend Stevenage office. Your role Are you someone who likes a challenge in your working environment as well as the role you are carrying out? As an infrastructure architect you will be expected to provide architectural leadership for end-to-end solutions as part of the project, ensuring seamless integration or project activities with existing running services. The architect will be instrumental in design development, troubleshooting, and validating change impacts within live service environments. You will lead solution architecture across full implementation lifecycle as well as validate and assess changes against in-service systems to prevent unauthorised implementations. You will be expected to conduct deep-dive investigations and own remediations. Your experience End to end solution architecture (troubleshooting and developing designs whilst whole solution impacting within the design/implementation) Wintel generalist with application architecture knowledge. Good understanding of Linux systems (automation an advantage). Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware preferred, others acceptable). NetApp storage experience: SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication. Solid understanding of networking and firewalls. Ability to deep-dive on investigations to steer remediations This role will require you to become security cleared to a high level.
