Location: This role could be based in our Edinburgh, Telford or Birmingham office, with a mix of office and home working.

The role
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Analyst to support enhancements to our Oracle EPM platform and improve expense accounting processes. The role emphasizes adherence to project governance, structured delivery, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with finance and technical teams to define and validate requirements for Oracle EPM and expense processes.
2. Process Mapping & Optimization: Review current processes and identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
3. Project Governance Support: Ensure compliance with governance standards, including documentation and approvals.
4. Testing & Validation: Create test cases, support UAT, and validate system changes.
5. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison among finance, IT, and project teams.
6. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation and project updates.
What are we looking for?
* Knowledge of Oracle EPM modules (Planning, Financial Consolidation, etc.)
* Experience with expense accounting and financial data analysis
* Understanding of project governance frameworks (PMO standards, audit controls)
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and JIRA
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Knowledge of Phoenix Finance Architecture
