We're partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business seeking a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join its growing supply chain team.
This is a high-impact role where you'll take ownership of material availability, supplier coordination, inventory control, and purchasing operations - helping to keep production moving without interruption while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the business.
As Buyer, key responsibilities
Manage material planning, purchasing, and inventory control
Execute MRP activities and maintain accurate SAP data
Raise and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time supply
Monitor stock levels, investigate variances, and support stock accuracy
Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and suppliers
Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives The successful candidate will
Experience in planning, purchasing, or supply chain gained within manufacturing
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Supplier management and inventory control experience
Proactive, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment This is a great opportunity for a supply chain professional looking to make a real operational impact within a collaborative and growing business.
