Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Performing local, remote and inter-networking design, implementation and documentation;

Utilizing and integrating network components such as bridges, routers and remote asynchronous links;

Monitoring the performance of the network platform and making technical recommendations on improvements if necessary;

Identifying business leads, interfacing with sales and providing input into technical proposal development;

Coordinating and taking lead of assigned projects in all technical and communication aspects;

Providing technical networking support to customers and peers;

Supporting the implementation and ongoing operations of network access control devices to include firewalls, web proxies, and SSL VPN devices;

Working collaboratively across a variety of business units to implement new technology;

Building and configuring solutions in the development, test and production environment;

Documenting the security infrastructure and design;

Managing problems, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting operation with vendor escalation and issue resolution;

Facilitating device refresh of network security devices with a focus on capacity, manageability, and security of new and existing security infrastructure;

Designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise class devices;

Troubleshooting issues including network protocol and log analysis, raw data captures, and the correlation of disparate events spanning multiple devices and platform;

Enterprising network architecture, design, and support including network hardware, network protocols, and data flows.

Job Requirements Job requirement's

CCNA or CCNP Certifications or equivalent;

1-2 years of experience in network design, implementation and documentation;

Experience with switching / routing / Wi-Fi and FW/VPN on Cisco platform;

Experience with Checkpoint firewalls;

Designing and maintaining Checkpoint Firewall-1/VPN-1 solutions (R65 and above);

Upgrade HW/SW gateways and management;

Working with IP appliance platforms;

Creating VPN tunnels to customer network;

Receiving supervision on issues relating to procedures and standards relevant to the products for which they are responsible and the operating environment in which they function.

Work conditions:

Working hours: 3 full days per week

Contract type: Fixed-term - duration to be determined

Working setup (hybrid, on site, remote): 100% onsite
