Financial Accountant (12-Month FTC) | SaaS | £65,000-£70,000
Hampshire (Hybrid - 2 days in office)
We're working with an innovative and rapidly growing SaaS business in the aviation risk space, looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in running the financial reporting function within a fast-paced, scaling SaaS environment.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting, supporting business decision-making, and driving improvements across systems, automation, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow)
Supporting cashflow forecasting and board-level reporting
Departmental cost analysis and performance insights
Supporting year-end and statutory accounts
Transactional Oversight
Managing invoicing and revenue recognition processes
Overseeing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and payroll
Partnering with Sales on credit control and debtor management
Process & Systems Improvement
Driving automation, AI integration, and continuous improvement
Supporting development of the finance tech stack
Improving reporting accuracy and efficiency across the business
✅ What We're Looking For
Essential:
Qualified accountant (or high-potential finalist) with relevant PQE
Advanced / expert user of Xero
Strong experience in management accounts, reporting, and forecasting
Advanced Excel skills
Experience improving processes and systems (automation / AI highly desirable)
Highly Desirable:
Background in a SaaS or tech-driven business
Experience with multi-currency and intercompany transactions
