Long-term Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher to join a vibrant and dynamic secondary school in Exeter. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting physical activity and well-being among students, helping them develop a positive attitude toward fitness and healthy lifestyles. As a PE Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons across a range of sports and activities for students aged 11-18.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages students to participate actively.
* Develop students’ skills in various sports and physical activities.
* Promote teamwork, discipline, and fair play through sports.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall development of the school’s physical education program.
PE Teacher Requirements:
* A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy living.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
