Care Sector Trainer
Southend on Sea | Up to £32,000 PA | Full Time | Permanent Position

We’re working with a values-led care provider based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, who is looking for a passionate and confident trainer to join their team. If you love helping others grow, creating engaging training, and making care better for everyone — this could be the role for you.
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality training to internal staff and external clients. The focus is on ensuring care teams are skilled, confident, and fully prepared to deliver outstanding care and support.
Your main duties will include:
* Delivering engaging training on topics like safeguarding, dementia, mental health, and substance misuse
* Designing and updating course content in line with legislation and best practice
* Deliver engaging training sessions on a variety of care topics including manual handling, medication, safeguarding and emergency first aid
* Supporting staff inductions and assessing Care Certificates
* Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
* Monitoring training outcomes and making improvements where needed
* Keeping accurate records of training delivery
* Exploring external funding to enhance training opportunities
You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £32,000 and the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week after probation.
**To be successful, you’ll need a recognised training qualification (like AET, PTLLS or CTLLS), experience delivering training in a social care setting, and a genuine passion for developing others.**
