Claims Handler – Property Damage | Bristol
Location: Bristol (Hybrid) | Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: to £30,000
This top-tier Property & Casualty / Property Damage team in Bristol is looking for a claims handler to handle subrogated recovery claims for a number of major insurers. The team advises on matters anywhere from £10K to £1m. You’ll manage your own caseload from first instruction through litigation and have the opportunity to progress and develop your career to more complex work.
The role
* Manage a caseload of property insurance recovery claims
* Run files from pre-action through litigation (CPR knowledge essential)
* Work on varied, high-value cases and contribute to client initiatives
* Liaise with insurers, solicitors, and internal teams
What we’re looking for
* Claims handling or litigation experience (insurance preferred)
* Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Detail-focused, commercially minded, and client-centric
* Tech-savvy with MS Office and case management tools
