The Opportunity:
I’m working with a well-regarded firm in Southport who are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Legal Secretary to join their property department. If you’re an experienced legal secretary with a background in conveyancing and looking for a new role in a friendly, well-structured team – this could be ideal.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Providing full secretarial support to fee earners in the Residential Conveyancing team
2. Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
3. Opening and closing files
4. Diary management and scheduling appointments
5. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and estate agents
6. Preparing documents and bundles for property transactions
7. Assisting with general office administration as needed
What We’re Looking For:
8. Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within residential property
9. Strong typing and document production skills (audio and copy)
10. Good working knowledge of the conveyancing process
11. Highly organised and able to manage time and workload efficiently
12. Friendly, professional, and confident with client communication
