We are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing engineering company based in Tewkesbury, who are now seeking a practical and detail-focused Semi-Skilled Machinist to join their busy production team.
With a strong reputation in precision engineering, our client specialises in producing high-quality linear rail components for a range of industries. Their commitment to quality is matched by their investment in modern machinery, skilled staff, and efficient production processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a semi-automatic cutting machine to produce components to exact measurements.
No CNC experience required and full training will be provided. You’ll need to have an eye for detail, be comfortable working with measuring tools and be keen to learn new skills.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Operate a semi-automatic cutting machine to produce components to set specifications.
* Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
* Follow work instructions and schedules to meet production targets.
* Carry out basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance checks.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
* Report equipment issues or defects promptly.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Skills and Experience
* Experience operating semi-automatic machinery (desirable but not essential).
* Ability to measure accurately using tools such as tape measures and callipers.
* Good attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
* Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual, and positive in attitude.
