Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well‑established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Peterborough area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.
Role
* Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
* Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
* Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients.
* Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
Requirements
* 2 years' experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer.
* Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
* ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment).
Package
* 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
* Overtime paid at hourly rate.
* Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
* Salary: £41,000 - £48,000 per annum (DOE).
* Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer.
* Monthly bonus.
* OTE £50,000+ per annum.
