Job Description

Role Summary

To play a key role as a member of the Aftermarket team in maintaining and developing the MANN-FILTER and WIX Filtration brand in the UK and Ireland Aftermarket.

Main Tasks

1. Supporting our distributors in the Aftermarket to ensure organisational growth is maximised.
2. Handling customer requests and queries on a day-to-day basis and providing them with a prompt and efficient service.
3. Manage a Key customer account, acting as contact with procurement team and sales operations.
4. Attend trade shows and work outs with key customers.
5. Present and offer training to garage owners and technicians across visits and trade events, ensuring best practice when promoting MANN-FILTER and WIX brands.
6. Analysis of spend / customer trends, ensuring stock management and cleanse process delivered as per contract.
7. Prepare reports / sales activity logs as per department needs.
8. To influence and assist in the development of the Company’s approach to the Aftermarket Division.
9. To maximise the potential revenue for the Company’s products at agreeable margins.
10. To act as the Company’s “eyes and ears” in the marketplace and to provide our Company with relevant information and data on market developments within the Aftermarket business.
11. To assist in the creation and execution of short and long term plans for the business.
12. The preparation, presentation and execution of proposals for new customers including pricing, marketing and logistics.
13. Actively interact and engage with workshops in the promotion of the MANN-FILTER and WIX brands.

19. ITG/National Trading Group knowledge and understanding.
20. Active knowledge in the UK Aftermarket for AM spares.
21. Previous experience in a similar Sales role essential.
22. Literate and Numerate
23. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
24. Ability to grow with the Company and develop themselves through a mixture of work experience and training to be eligible for promotion within the future
25. Proficient in Microsoft Office
26. Good negotiation skills
27. Must be flexible in approach to working hours
28. Must live within reasonable travelling distance of allocated sales area.
29. Regular travel within the UK and Ireland
30. Travel to Mann+Hummel global organisations as required.
31. Must accept a non-smoking environment.
32. Overnight stays required where applicable.
33. Must working within set procedures and to all Health and Safety Regulations
