I'm recruiting for an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on the National Grid framework. This role is based on a substation project in Swansea and offers a 6‑month CIS contract with strong potential for extension.
The Role
You'll oversee the delivery of M&E works on-site, ensuring full compliance with National Grid procedures, safety standards, and permit systems. This is a key role requiring strong coordination, supervision, and safety leadership.
Responsibilities
Supervising M&E packages and daily site operations
Managing subcontractors and direct labour
Ensuring all work is delivered in line with National Grid safety protocols
Managing permits, RAMS, and all site documentation
Liaising with engineers and the wider project team
Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
Requirements (Essential)
Valid National Grid Person's Ticket (NGP)
Proven experience delivering M&E works on National Grid or similar regulated power frameworks
SSSTS or SMSTS
Strong understanding of high‑voltage and safety-critical environments
First Aid (advantageous)
Ability to manage site teams and maintain a compliant, productive environment
