We are currently recruiting Site Engineers to ensure first-class maintenance services are delivered at the 2 Hoddesdon sites. The role involves adhering to legislative requirements and meeting KPIs & SLA’s across the distribution centre.
* Ensuring all plant, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime
* Being the first point of contact for all site maintenance issues
* Diagnosing faults
* Undertaking planned maintenance
* Responding to major equipment breakdowns
* Working with the Facilities Team to manage budgets
* Ensuring the distribution centre meets legal compliance for maintenance
* Managing Facilities’ 3rd party contractors effectively
* Attending regular meetings to review, plan, and prioritize activities
Hours of Work:
8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required based on business needs. Weekend work and public holidays may also be necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
* TEC/City & Guilds or a time-served apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical environment or building services
* Ability to prioritize workload
* Practical skills and good diagnostic/problem-solving abilities
* Experience with heavy lifting, ladder work, working at heights, and using power tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Health and Safety knowledge
* Experience in a logistics environment with multi-temperature storage
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
