Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated specialist school in Hove, East Sussex. The role offers a chance to make a real impact, whether you're coming from an education setting or have experience in care or support roles.
The Role:
You ll assist students with complex learning needs, providing both academic and emotional support. Some pupils may require personal care or help managing behaviours, and you ll play a key role in helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.

* Support Worker
* Youth Mentor
* Care Assistant
* Residential Support Staff
* Or similar care-based role
your experience is highly valued, and we d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support in small groups or 1:1 settings
* Help implement education plans and promote positive behaviour
* Support students with communication, movement, and daily routines
* Build trusted relationships with staff and pupils
* Deliver inclusive, student-focused support
Requirements:
* Some experience supporting individuals with additional needs
* Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
* Ability to follow school policies and respond to student needs
* Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to apply)
* A current and detailed CV
