IT Support Engineer (Level 1/2) - 3‑Month Contract - Outside IR35 - £175-£200/day
Location: Onsite, Leamington Spa
Contract Length: 3 months (with potential extension)
Start Date: Urgent turnaround - ideally starting 2nd February
IR35: Outside IR35
Working Pattern: 5 days per week onsite
About the Role
We're urgently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer (Level 1/2) to provide hands‑on technical support within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You will act as the first point of contact for users, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and systems remain stable. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys varied workloads, autonomy, and direct interaction with end‑users.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Delivering daily support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
2. Handling and resolving support tickets, escalating to Level 3 where required
3. Installing and configuring IT equipment and peripherals
4. Supporting Microsoft 365 administration and basic Windows Server tasks
5. Completing onboarding tasks for new starters, including account creation and workstation setup
6. Monitoring systems and ensuring smooth IT operations
7. Documenting fixes and contributing to internal knowledge articles
8. Supporting basic networking (Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP)
9. Assisting with building‑related systems such as CCTV, heating, and security
What We're Looking For
10. Prior Level 1/2 IT support experience
11. Confident troubleshooting hardware and software issues
12. Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
13. Basic networking understanding
14. Strong communication skills with a calm, customer‑focused approach
15. Someone proactive, organised, and able to work effectively in a small on‑site team
