Location: UK-based, remote / hybrid
We’re recruiting for a long-established product-focused software company looking for a Software Engineer to help evolve and support a mature, widely used web application.
You’ll work across both modern and legacy technologies, with a clear route for technical progression.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a mix of:
* Building and enhancing product features
* Fixing bugs and improving existing functionality
* Writing and maintaining automated tests
* Helping to improve build and deployment pipelines
* Collaborating with product and business teams to define requirements
* Occasionally supporting customers and troubleshooting issues
Some planned out-of-hours work may be required from time to time and is recognised/compensated.
You don’t need all of these, but you should be comfortable with Microsoft web development and keen to broaden your skills:
* C#, .NET (Framework and .NET 6/8+)
* Modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React)
* Legacy front-end tech (e.g. jQuery / older frameworks)
* SQL databases (e.g. SQL Server)
* Source control (Git / similar)

* 3+ years’ experience in web development on the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, HTML, CSS)
