Overview
This inviting and creative specialist school is currently seeking a trainee teacher to support learning across KS2 and 3. This is a full-time, term-time only basis with a permanent role required ASAP. You will support SEN learners on a 1:1 basis in a small class environment, with support from the SLT, delivering all subjects in the broad and balanced curriculum. The role is based on a 2-year training programme and after completion you will move into the senior teaching team. The school offers facilities including a music room, science laboratories, cookery room, technology and art studios, and uses extensive sports and recreation facilities. The school values listening to, respecting and valuing its staff.
Responsibilities
* Support learning across KS2 and KS3, focusing on pupils with ASD diagnoses and/or associated conditions.
* Provide 1:1 support to SEN learners in a small class environment.
* Support the delivery of all subjects within the broad and balanced curriculum with guidance from SLT.
* Participate in a two-year training programme with progression to the senior teaching team upon completion.

Requirements
* Be a resilient, committed and enthusiastic individual
* Relevant teaching assistant, childcare or care experience (UK based)
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
