Ward 3 have an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Band 5 Registered Nurse.

Our aim is for our Ward to be a centre of excellence. There is on-going investment to ensure our staff have the right skills, values and expertise to provide high quality specialist care for our patients.
Ward 3 is a mixed sex general medical ward with a focus on Respiratory and General Medicine, we deal with complex and acute medical conditions so no two days are the same. We adopt a rehabilitation approach working closely with our therapy teams which helps to promote and maintain mobility and independence for our patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, happy, professional individual who takes pride in their work, committed to the teams vision with strong leadership qualities, a strong understanding of Trust Values and passionate about strengthening an existing team.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Ability to demonstrate fundamental nursing knowledge and practice skills
* Knowledge of the conditions relevant to the speciality
* Awareness of role in relation to patient experience, quality and safety agenda's that support Governance Frameworks
* Demonstrable ability in management of vital signs monitoring and escalation of the deteriorating patient.
* Non-IV and IV medication administration
* Venepuncture and cannulation
* ECG recording
Qualification
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Advanced Diploma/Degree in Adult Health Nursing Studies
* Teaching Qualification
* Post registration courses related to the specialty
