Regional Sales Manager Europe North - ACV

At General Vacuum Europe we are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sales Manager for Europe North, for our Atlas Copco Vacuum brand. The role can be based in the UK or BENELUX and will involve frequent travel to across the North Europe regio

Role Overview:

As the Regional Sales Manager Europe North, your mission is to develop and implement a regional sales strategy to grow the Atlas Copco Vacuum business through all direct and indirect channels. This will be against ambitious targets for revenue, profitability, and market share, in line with Atlas Copco Vacuum’s vision of becoming “first in mind, first in choice’. The Europe North Regional sales manager will manage a team of 4 RSM’s and 4 Sales Engineers in line with their strategy

Key responsibilities:

Market Intelligence & Strategy

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industrial vacuum market, customer trends, and competitive landscape.· Use insights to shape and adapt regional marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with customer centers and divisional product management

Sales & Business Development

· Drive order intake, revenue growth, and CGP development across all equipment lines.· Hunt new business with all ACV Products in the market· Proactively pursue new business opportunities and manage existing accounts with a clear strategy for “defending, sustaining, and growing” key customers.· Collaborate with Major Project, Key Account Managers, and Business Development Managers to maximize opportunities and promote aftersales and service offerings.

Sales Team Leadership

· Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional Sales Engineers to achieve sales excellence and align with the Atlas Copco way.· Foster an entrepreneurial spirit, promote cultural initiatives, and support continuous improvement.

Process & Operations Management

· Improve and implement effective end-to-end sales processes from pre-sales to order follow-up in coordination with internal stakeholders.· Ensure effective use of sales enablement tools (SAP, C4C, VacuumShop) and maintain accurate data and product catalogues.· Optimize the ACV sales process in the region from initial contact to payment, ensuring tools and resources are fit for purpose and driving positive customer satisfaction and ACV business results

Customer Experience & Digitalization

· Ensure fast and complete responses to customer inquiries, promoting high satisfaction levels.· Drive adoption of e-commerce and digital tools to enhance sales efficiency and customer engagement.

Reporting & Compliance

· Provide timely and accurate business reports, forecasts, and KPI tracking including inventory, overdue payments, and sales performance.· Prepare market insight reports and cross train with other business partners on key markets or applications

To be successful in this role, you will:

1. Be an experienced manager with a proven track record in sales coaching, talent development, and consistently exceeding ambitious targets.
2. Possess deep product and application knowledge, enabling you to effectively guide and support the Sales team.
3. Demonstrate a strong history of value-based selling, ideally with at least 5 years of experience in selling Atlas Copco or vacuum-related products.
4. Be an excellent communicator and a collaborative team player.
5. Think strategically and bring strong marketing acumen to the role.
6. Have experience executing customer strategies and plans, as well as managing budgets effectively.
7. Exhibit strong technical expertise in vacuum physics and rotating machinery.
8. Display leadership qualities with the ability to influence both peers and direct reports.
9. Be highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
10. Bring an entrepreneurial mindset with a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
11. Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of business dynamics.

Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)

12. Minimum 50% travel within region
