Your new role
As the Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, andpliance of financial reporting across the group. You will:
1. Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for all group entities, including the consolidated group, ensuring fullpliance with FRS 102.
2. Act as primary contact for external auditors, managing the audit process end‑to‑end.
3. Support month‑end close, including production of the consolidated balance sheet and timely reconciliations.
4. Serve as a technical accounting expert, preparing high‑quality accounting papers and advising stakeholders onplex accounting matters.
5. Oversee the accounting for the group’s Guernsey entities and liaise with external accountants.
6. Support taxpliance and act as the main point of contact for tax advisors.
7. Assist with covenant reporting and cashflow management.
8. Deliver ad hoc reporting and projects as required by the Financial Controller and CFO.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
9. ACA or ACCA qualified.
10. Highly organised, accurate and able to work proactively.
11. Strong inmunication, planning, and attention to detail.
12. Able to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Desirable:
13. Experience within financial services, audit, or practice.
14. Exposure to PE-backed environments or FCA reporting.
15. Taxpliance experience.
16. Knowledge of Sage 200 or similar financial systems.
