Overview
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Critical site
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £45K + call out allowance (£200 each time).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 with call out rota of 1 in 3 weeks.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on all electrical systems including lighting, distribution boards, power supplies, and emergency systems.
* Conduct fault finding, minor installations, and ensure full compliance with H&S and statutory regulations.
* Plant room checks.
* Support with BMS monitoring, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and maintain UPS systems where applicable.
* Liaise with centre management, tenants, and contractors to ensure maintenance is delivered with minimal disruption.
* Keep accurate records and update logbooks and CAFM systems.
Candidate Requirements
* City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or NVQ in Electrical Installations
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* Proven experience in a similar retail or commercial environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and good communication
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Ideal experience in data centres or critical experience.
* Desirable: HV experience
