About the Role
Join the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust as Development Officer and be part of our passionate and dynamic Development department. We are seeking a dedicated individual for a permanent role within our fast‑paced, growing team.
Responsibilities
* Engage in prospect research.
* Coordinate fundraising plans.
* Manage application submissions.
* Handle external reporting for a variety of exciting projects.
Qualifications
* A genuine passion for fundraising and a strong belief in its positive impact.
* Experience across income generation, prospect research, donor stewardship, and supporter engagement, or a keenness to develop your skills across the full fundraising cycle within an arts, culture, or heritage context.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
* Positive, flexible attitude and the ability to collaborate confidently with colleagues across departments.
