Financial Adviser - Chelmsford
Our client is seeking a Financial Adviser to act as an intermediary between their company and customers. Your role will involve providing clients with financial guidance and recommending how to best utilise their money. The ideal candidate will research the marketplace for available products and services, identify customer needs, design financial strategies, and close sales.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement from their office in either Horsham or Chelmsford.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic advice on various financial products and services, including debt management, cash management, insurance, and investments.
* Assess clients' overall financial situations, understand their needs, and develop comprehensive financial plans.
* Guide clients towards profitable and secure financial decisions.
* Build and maintain a client base, fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
* Network, generate leads, and seize opportunities to sell funds, stocks, bonds, etc., to meet sales targets.
* Stay updated on industry trends and conduct market research to support financial advice.
* Monitor and update financial plans to ensure profitability.
* Comply with all industry regulations and standards.
* Coordinate with providers, solicitors, valuers, and other professionals.
Requirements and Skills
* Proven experience as a Financial Adviser, Financial Planner, or similar role.
* Successful track record in financial guidance.
* Ability to analyse financial data and provide data-driven advice.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Proficiency with PC systems and databases.
* Current qualifications (FCA, CII, DipFA, CISI, or equivalent).
* Degree in Finance or related field is preferred.
