We are looking for a Reception Supervisor to maintain cash handling, balancing, reconciliations and reservations, to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests and customers.
Job Details
* Job Title: Reception Supervisor
* Responsible to: Head Receptionist / Management / Directors
* Main Purpose: Cash handling, balancing, reconciliations and reservations; to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests and customers.
* Location: La Mon Hotel & Country Club, Comber
* Contract Type: fulltime
* Salary: £13.15 Hourly
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain and adhere to the company’s health and safety policies.
* Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
* Supervise and support front desk receptionists during shifts.
* Train and coach front desk staff.
* Ensure facilities hygiene standards are maintained to hotel standards.
* Maintain and operate the reception area to hotel standards.
* Operate the reception computer and balance the cash till at the end of each shift.
* Ensure the operation of the switchboard and handle all customer and telephone enquiries.
* Handle guest complaints, special requests and service recovery.
* Maintain all reception records and ledgers as directed by management.
* Booking and reservations for meals, accommodation.
* Process outgoing mail.
* Provide relevant departments with daily information (bookings, resident count, or changes).
* Ensure opening procedures and security are adhered to for protection of staff and property and customers.
* Promote and sell the hotel and its products in a friendly and helpful manner.
* Greet staff in a friendly and approachable manner.
* Ensure the hotel lobby is kept clean and tidy to hotel standards.
* Clear glasses/cups in the hotel lobby.
* Deal with customer complaints and requests.
* Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
* Ensure effective communication with management and peers.
* Attend training courses as necessary.
* Check and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessary.
* Maintain proper and accurate records of all sales and guest accounts, as required.
* Ensure due care is taken for health and safety of all persons on premises.
* Report and take action on incidents, fire, loss or damage where appropriate.
* Report all maintenance issues and take appropriate action.
* Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
