For our newest Yorkshire location, we're looking for an experienced and adaptable Zero Hour Commis Chef (Japanese Cuisine) to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. This role is ideal if you're passionate about cooking, eager to develop your skills, and enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities:
* Preparing and cooking hot dishes such as katsu curry, grilled/fried items, and ramen.
* Accurately cutting, portioning, and preparing vegetables and proteins.
* Supporting senior chefs in maintaining consistency, presentation, and flavour standards.
* Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to food safety regulations.
* Assisting with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a commercial, fast-paced restaurant environment.
* Ability to prepare and portion ingredients with accuracy and efficiency.
* Confidence in handling the hot section, including frying, grilling, and sauce preparation.
* Strong ability to follow company recipes and maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and timing.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail under pressure.
* Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and best kitchen practices.
