A well:established and successful manufacturer, this company is recognised as the market:leading brand within the industry and has a reputation for quality and innovation that is supported by its excellent technical team. They are currently looking to strengthen the technical team with the appointment of a Technical Engineer
This client would be interested in hearing from any graduates in Civil/ Structural/ Construction related degrees.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with production and NPD teams to enhance product quality.
* Analyse data to drive improvements and implement CAPA plans.
* Maintain QMS that meets BRC and customer standards.
* Achieve and sustain AA+ audit readiness.
* Ensure global legal compliance of all products.
* Deliver cost:efficient lab testing and effective root cause analysis.
* Ensure compliance with UK/EU legislation and customer codes of practice.
* Manage HACCP plans and conduct risk assessments
* Develop, maintain, and improve QMS aligned with BRCGS, HACCP, and SALSA standards.
* Lead internal audits and manage third:party audit readiness.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Expertise in managing BRCGS and retailer audits.
* Excellent problem:solving and analytical skills.
* Strong leadership and communication abilities.
* Proven experience in technical/quality management within the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of UK/EU food legislation and standards
