Job Role:
GP Care Services are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Care Support Worker to assist in the provision of individual personal care and support to residents having regard to their rights, privacy, dignity, choice, fulfilment, independence and confidentiality. You will provide a stimulating environment which encourages and enables residents to maximise their skills and abilities and retain their independence for as long as possible.
Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their dignity, comfort and safety.
* Implement care plans tailored to individual needs of those living with dementia.
* Maintain accurate records of residents progress and any changes in condition.
* Support residents emotionally and socially, promoting their well-being.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
* Uphold the standards of NVQ and Level 2 in Health & Social Care in all tasks.
Essential Requirements:
· Previous experience working with a variety of dementia conditions within a care setting
· To undertake relevant training and NVQ level 2 in the care sector
· To follow instructions as identified in care plans/risk assessments
· To communicate effectively both face to face and in writing
· Ability to work as part of a team & use your own initiative
Desirable Attributes:
· Qualifications- NVQ level 2 in Care or Health and Social Care qualification.
