The School and Role
A First School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their enthusiastic team on a Part-time basis. The successful candidate will be working three full days and two half days per week in a Year 4 class. This role will include offering a mix of general, small group and 1:1 support, whilst working alongside the class teacher and other support members of staff.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Preferably have experience of working with Key Stage 2.
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
