Are you an experienced scaffolder ready to take the lead? We’re looking for a Working Scaffold Supervisor to manage and support 2–3 scaffolding gangs on a secure site in Royston, Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role where your leadership, expertise, and professionalism will play a key part in the successful delivery of projects.
About the Scaffold Supervisor Role:
You’ll supervise and actively participate in scaffolding operations, working closely with office staff and other site teams. This is a single-site, long-term opportunity offering stability and the chance to work in a well-supported, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Scaffold Supervisor:
* Oversee all scaffolding activity on-site and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
* Coordinate with site managers, project managers, and scaffolders to meet project timelines
* Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks
* Regularly inspect scaffolding for safety and accuracy
* Manage workforce scheduling and timekeeping
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and on-site teams
* Read and interpret scaffold drawings confidently
What We’re Looking For
* CISRS Advanced Scaffolder – Preferable
* First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work – Desirable
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in scaffolding
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* Calm, patient and structured approach to team management
