Responsibilities
* Build and maintain a high‑performing team with the right mix of competencies and leadership roles
* Ensure robust planning, efficient processes, and seamless interfaces with other departments
* Foster strong vertical communication between Engineering Leadership (EL) and the Control Department
* Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports, Functional Leaders, UK Team Leads, and cross‑functional stakeholders
* Provide technical sparring and guidance to team members
* Act as Individual Contributor Manager (ICM) for UK‑based team members
* Liaise with UK HR Business Partners and the EHS community, ensuring compliance with UK safety standards
* Interface with UK Real Estates for facility‑related matters
* Oversee recruitment and development of graduates in the UK Graduate Scheme
* Serve as a UK legal and financial signatory
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience
* Proven leadership experience in control systems or related engineering fields
* Strong technical background with the ability to mentor and guide engineers
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with UK HR, EHS, and legal frameworks is a plus
* Passion for renewable energy and innovation
