Job Title: Logistics Planner
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Planner to ensure efficient planning and coordination of our production and delivery processes. The role involves managing orders, coordinating with third-party logistics providers, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring timely deliveries to our customers.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Planning bulk/retail/oat drink orders into the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
2. Liaising with local and international third-party packers and logistics companies to ensure timely delivery of packaging and products.
3. Maintaining accurate stock levels in SAGE 200.
4. Communicating with the Operations Manager and Finance team to adjust stock levels based on sales forecasts.
5. Collaborating with the Sales Department to update sales forecasts.
6. Managing logistics providers to meet delivery requirements and resolve any delivery issues.
7. Investigating customer delivery complaints.
8. Preparing and verifying customs documentation for exports.
9. Performing other related tasks as required by the business.
Skills and experience required:
* Proficiency with Sage 200.
* Strong data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
* Experience tracking KPIs such as On-Time In-Full deliveries, Warehouse GMP audits, and production timeliness.
